Usually our resolutions have to do health, fitness, financial goals and our personal and professional relationships. This year I have many personal resolutions as well as professional GOALS which I am hoping I can stay dedicated to. My top New Year resolutions FOR 2017 include continuing to build my professional relationships as I  have become true believer that the success of my business is directly related to the relationships I have built and maintained with my clients.

When asked, most home owners do not call back the realtor that sold them their house when the time comes to sell, they hire someone else. Why we ask them? 9 times out of 10 they say they never heard from their from their realtor after they closed on their home. The first time I heard this I was shocked but I  have come to realize this is completely true! After 24 years in the business I can say with complete certainty that most often the communication between agent and client disappears and the agent is forgotten. I work hard at maintaining  a  professional relationship with my clients and try to stay in touch and keep up with them and remain interested in their life. Celebrating milestones and accomplishments, watching their kids and family grow, meeting their friends and creating friendships along the way.

Purchasing a home is, for most people, the biggest and most important financial decision of their life.  A new home is a huge financial investment and most likely the largest asset you will ever own. When choosing a realtor to represent you in your home purchase it is very important to feel confident in their abilities to put your interests first. Many people feel that a realtors job is very easy, that all they do is unlock doors and look at pretty houses all day long. Honestly, nothing could be further from the truth when you are working with a true professional. Listening and paying close attention to the details of my customers lifestyle are qualities I believe very strongly in, keeping the choices of homes we look at in a tight price range and not showing them property that they can not afford is crucial. Negotiating on their behalf and in their best interest is key! Managing the transaction, making sure the contract is being honored and all contingencies are being met. Educating them about home ownership, issues with the property, working with all the moving part of the transaction and holding their hands along the way and easing any pressures or complications along the way. My goal is to make the transaction seamless and enjoyable and a great experience. There are times when things can become bit overwhelming and emotional, this is where the experienced professional can be priceless!

  • ARE THEY OPENNING  YOUR EYES TO POTNETIAL PROBLEMS OR ARE THEY JUST TRYING TO SELL YOU A HOME TO MAKE A COMMISSION CHECK
  • DO THEY HAVE REFERNCES AND TESTIMONIALS
  • And most importantly, Does your realtor have your best interest at heart?
